CrossCulturalSolidarity.com aims to become a landing place for people to plug into the entire universe of racial justice history. As of early 2022, there are over 100 racial justice history resources, as well as a plan to build 200 more over the next two years.

Lead curator Lynn Burnett offers this origin story of the project: “In the wake of George Floyd’s murder, more White people than ever before in U.S. history took to the streets and expressed an interest in showing up for racial justice. It felt like a truly transformative moment… if, I felt, that commitment to racial justice could be deepened and sustained. I asked myself what my own role was, as a White man with my background, in making that happen. My response came in December of 2020, when I launched the White Antiracist Ancestry Project to tell the stories of the greatest White antiracists in U.S. history, as a means to provide role models and sources of inspiration and guidance.”
