Developing a Freedom School

January 9 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

A crucial Zoom meeting on January 9th, 2025, at 6 PM to discuss the urgent need to develop Freedom Schools within our communities. This is an opportunity for us to come together and explore how we can create educational systems that teach our children about our history, civics, technology, life skills, and other essential subjects.

Join us for a critical discussion on how to develop a Freedom School in your church. We will have various churches represented that have successfully developed Freedom School and Black History School models. This is our chance to build our education systems the way the Black church used to do, empowering our children and ensuring they receive the education they deserve.

During the meeting, we will cover several key topics, including:

Funding: Learn about different funding sources and strategies to secure financial support for your Freedom School.

Concept Development: Discover how to develop a compelling concept that aligns with your church’s mission and goals.

Community Engagement: Explore ways to engage your community and involve them in envisioning and supporting the Freedom School model.

Operational Insights: Gain insights into the day-to-day operations of a Freedom School, including curriculum development, staffing, and management.
