Dr. Carter G. Woodson’s Birthday Commemoration & Community Conversation

Join the Trent House Association and the Greater Trenton Chapter of ASALH – the Association for the Study of African American Life and History – in commemorating the birthday of ASALH’s founder, Dr. Carter G. Woodson.

Learn about Dr. Woodson’s life and contributions to the field of African American history. Participate in a discussion of his influential book, “The Mis-Education of the Negro,” and consider its relevance today.

Plenty of free parking is available in the rear of the Trent House property, which is across from the Hughes Justice Complex.
