Celebrate the opening of Samuel Fosso: Affirmative Acts at Art on Hulfish. Though Fosso is one of the best-known photographers from the African continent on the international scene, this will be the first museum survey of his work in the United States.
At the open house, learn more about the art on view from Museum Director James Steward and from Princeton Professor Chika Okeke-Agulu, a specialist in African and African Diaspora art history and theory, who curated the show with Princeton students Silma Berrada, Lawrence Chamunorwa, Maia Julis, and Iheanyi Onwuegbucha.
