Talk by artist Mario Moore to celebrate the installation of his painting The Great Reckoning, now on view in the atrium of the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. The work depicts Moore’s ancestor, a Black Union Army soldier who fought in the Civil War, and invites us to consider the contested histories that link our pasts and present.
