Mississippi to Atlantic City: Freedom Summer’s Mark on America

The New Jersey Council for the Humanities and the Mississippi Humanities Council present a panel discussion commemorating the 60th anniversary of the iconic events that transpired at the 1964 Democratic National Convention in Atlantic City. Featuring four 1964 DNC/MFDP veterans and civil rights icons  Euvester Simpson, Dr. Roy DeBerry, Dr. Leslie McLemore, David Dennis, Sr.

To be held at the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room of Stockton University’s Atlantic City Campus, John F. Scarpa Academic Center, 3711 Atlantic Avenue
