New Jersey Reparations Council Launch

On Juneteenth (June 19), NJISJ will be in Perth Amboy to announce the first-of-its-kind council to finally confront and repair New Jersey’s deep and often overlooked history of slavery – and its lasting impact on Black people in New Jersey.
