What exactly is critical race theory?
With all of the challenges we face today, it seems more urgent than ever that we as a nation nurture the growth of young people as informed civic leaders and participants. In order to do so, we have to find ways to communicate and understand one another across differences when we talk about systems of power, our collective histories, and specific identities.
