Dr. Joy Barnes-Johnson Dr. Jeri Johnson Dr. Andrea Moore
Dr. Joy Barnes-Johnson will be in conversation with Dr. Andrea Moore and Dr. Jeri Johnson to provide perspectives on the state of critical antiracist education in 2025. Sharing insights from their doctoral research, Dr. JJ and Dr. Moore will discuss voices and choices uncovered during their post-pandemic research. Dr. Joy will share her perspective as an education research mentor and instructional coach trying to navigate this moment as a racial literacy educator and abolitionist.
Dr. Andrea Moore is a dynamic and results-oriented school leader with expertise in developing and implementing programs that cater to diverse student needs. She is committed to creating equitable educational opportunities and advocating for the success of every student.
Dr. Jeri Johnson is an educator, teacher mentor and Lumio Ambassador who is currently serving as a Middle School Special Education teacher within the School District of Philadelphia. Her passion for educating all students is ignited by her ability to be a part of Lumio as an Ambassador.
Dr. Joy Barnes-Johnson has enjoyed working in K12 and university settings while also consulting for racial literacy, STEM and community-based social justice projects for the last 30 years. She has joined The Foundation Academy as the K-12 Head of STEM.
