President Obama spoke at the 50th anniversary commemoration of Bloody Sunday and the attack on marchers attempting to cross the Edmund Pettus bridge in Selma, Alabama, demanding the right to vote. The shooting came on the heels of the Department of Justice release of its report on the shooting of unarmed Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.
