Just Do It For Yourself
by Ms. Michael Marie Hill
There comes a time in your life
You’ve got to go for it
There comes a time in your life
You’ve got to show for it
Do the best you can
And show them where you stand
Just do it, do it for yourself
There comes a time in your life
You’ve got to move ahead
There comes a time in your life
It won’t be like they said
Hold your head high
Kiss the bad times goodbye
Just do it, do it for yourself
Step up to bat
And show them where it’s at
Don’t let them get you down
Just keep gaining ground
And through it all
You may stumble and fall
But move through the fear
Let the world know you’re here
And do it, do it for yourself
There comes a time in your life
You’ve got to run the race
There comes a time in your life
You’ve got to take your place
Cut through the strife
And reclaim your life
Just do it, do it for yourself
