The second in the West Windsor racial literacy series will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 6:30 pm at the West Windsor Public Library, 333 North Post Road.
Princeton High School students and Princeton CHOOSE founders Winona Guo and Priya Vulchi will present excerpts from The Classroom Index, a racial literacy workbook they created. They and fellow students will share narratives and pose questions to the panel. The panel will include Dr. Jonathan Pastor (assistant director of Counseling at Princeton Univ), Ms. Tennille Haynes (Director, Princeton University Fields Center), Ms. Beth Pandolpho (WWP HSN Language Arts teacher), Joyce Williams, LPC (counselor from Willingsboro), Kiran Gill (CEO of PARS), Jocelyn Jimenez (Princeton Public Library youth librarian), Nav the Poet (Spoken Word Artist), and Dr. Kani Ilangovan (psychiatrist). Nav the Poet will also give a slam poetry performance.
