Grounds for Sculpture (GFS) (80 Sculptors Way, Hamilton, NJ 08619 is present programs centered on their Joyce J. Scott: Harriet Tubman and Other Truths exhibition.

Sunday, January 14 at 3:00 pm (Snow Date: January 28), they are screening Raoul Peck’s I Am Not Your Negro.  Following the film, there will be informal discussion led by Dr. Piper Hendrix Williams, Associate Professor, English and African American Studies Departments at The College of New Jersey.  The event is free with park admission. Reservations required.

On Saturday, January 27, GFS will be launching a series of Book Club conversations. The selection for January is Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass; Cassandra Jackson, GFS’ first-ever Scholar in Residence, will facilitate the discussion. More information on all of the Book Club programs will be available on the website next week.
