“Join us for an intergenerational panel discussion led by longtime Princeton resident,
Shirley Satterfield, as we dive into the generational perspective of growing up African
American in Princeton. We will cover a host of topics such as what it was like to
live in Princeton during the era and fall of Jim Crow, the rise of the civil rights
movement and social justice, plus a candid conversation with Princeton young
adults who will discuss what has or hasn’t changed from their perspectives.”
