On Sunday, February 25, 4-6:30 pm at the ACME Screening Room, 25 S. Union St., Lambertville, NJ, “Terror and Triumph,” the 4th episode of “The Rise and Fall of Jim Crow,” will be screened.  It examines the surge of black activism that took place after World War II. Prolonged legal battles led to Supreme Court decisions that opened doors and restored voting rights for blacks. The battle for freedom, dignity, and opportunity throughout America continued through the ’50s and ’60s — and in many respects, continues today.  There will be discussion with Dr. Lauren Braun-Strumfels and NJ Public Scholar Brandyn Heppard after the screening. Lobby reception included.  Click here for tickets, which are $15, $8 for students with ID.
