Dr. Kenneth D. Waters, Ed.D. is currently a culture diversity educator and associate researcher at the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, in Potomac, MD. He earned his B.A. from Temple University, and his M.S. and Ed.D. from Neumann University. Dr. Waters research, expertise, and training revolve around cultural diversity; how race impacts one’s societal progression; urban school reform; restorative practices; workforce development and training; education in the 21st century; student and family differences; education law; systems thinking; and leadership. He has served as an expert consultant on NBC News and has present nationally, regionally, and locally on issues related to implicit bias, social justice, culturally relevant instruction, and educating students of color.
